Diploma Track

Upon successful completion of the diploma track, you will receive a certificate from the US Outdoor Council stating that you have passed the minimum requirements to qualify as a certified Master Whitetail Deer Hunter.  In addition, all Diploma credits count toward professional certification tracks.

This diploma track will provide you with a complete Whitetail Deer Hunting program. Students will acquire a foundation of knowledge and skills required to become a Master Whitetail Deer Hunter, including unique experiences only available within this program.

Course instructors for the Whitetail Deer Hunting Program are leading experts and veteran hunters with years of experience with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of whitetail deer.  Students will learn about the latest understanding in biology, as well as the habits of — and most advanced and effective techniques for stalking, tracking, calling and scouting — the most popular big game animal in America.

Whether learning to sight-in and maintain your firearm, site a tree stand, or score your trophy using the Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young or Safari Club International methods, the student will gain a complete understanding of all aspects of the hunt.  Learn how to estimate trophy quality in the field before you take the shot.  By developing live trophy scoring and age judging skills, the hunter will develop the skills needed for continued hunting success.

In addition, learn about the latest developments in weapons and ballistics, as well as the essentials of Wilderness Survival and First Aid.
