Fly Fishing

Diploma Track

Upon successful completion of the diploma track, you will receive a certificate from the US Outdoor Council stating that you have passed the minimum requirements to qualify as a certified Master Fly Fisherman.  In addition, all Diploma credits count toward professional certification tracks.

This diploma track will provide you with a complete Fly Fishing program. Students will acquire a foundation of knowledge and skills required to become a Master Fly Fisherman, including unique experiences only available within this program.

You will also develop and enhance your understanding of the outdoors, learning critical skills such as first aid, orienteering, survival techniques, and how to deal with wildlife and environmental risks.

Fly-fishing legend Lee Wolf said to me one day, “Roger, Fly fishing is the most simple concept to understand, and the most difficult to master.

One may never master the art of fly fishing, but it’s not about mastery as much as the challenge to become better.  This track is designed to provide you the fundamentals for a lifetime of learning to master the art and skill of fly fishing.

You will not only learn from the master Lefty Kreh, but will also glean insights about essential ecology, aquatic studies, and everything necessary for your travel in and out of wilderness areas in pursuit of this rewarding sport.
