See yourself experiencing a magnificent sunset while returning from a day of fishing the Florida Keys flats for tarpon and permit, discovering wilderness fishing for trophy trout in New Zealand while enjoying dramatically stunning views of Mount Raupehu (the largest of three volcanoes in Tongariro National Park), bonefishing in the Bahamas along the Andros Barrier Reef — a remote labyrinth of small islands, cays and tidal lakes boasting crystal-clear waters, fly fishing for trout along the pristine waters of the Little Snake River, located on the Colorado/Wyoming border and surrounded by stunning vistas of the Sierra Madre Mountains, or witnessing the majestic runs of salmon, while fishing non-stop during Alaska’s 19 hours of daylight.
Or fly fishing can take you to your favorite hometown limestone stream in Pennsylvania, where you returned year after year for the solitude of autumn trout fishing combined with the season’s vivid blaze of fall foliage.
No matter the skill level, once you’ve experienced the pleasures of fly-fishing, you’ll be hooked for a lifetime. And it takes a lifetime of experience and study to become knowledgeable, because fly fishing is more than a sport — it’s the art of catching a fish.
The general rule is that 10 percent of the fly fishermen catch 90 percent of the fish. Become part of the elite 10 percent.
